Analysis of the Causes of Overload and Shaft Holding in Comm
In the daily production work of the batching plant, the maintenance of the equipment are indispensable. If maintenance is not appropriate, some malfunctions may occur and affect the production schedule. The maintenance of the mixer is particularly important in the commercial concrete batching plant equipments. If shaft holding occurs of the concrete mixer, the production should be stopped immediately, and the cause must be analyzed and handled.
There are many possible reasons for the appearance of the mixer hold shaft. For example, the design of the feeding device is unreasonable, and the position and direction of the fly ash and cement feeding inlet are unreasonable, which may cause the material to be discharged on the shaft and adhered to the shaft. The utilization ratio unreasonable of the batching tube is also a possibility reason. The volume utilization rate unreasonable will expose the stirring shaft to the concrete , then a part of the concrete will stick on the agitator shaft, forming the shaft-holding phenomenon.
In addition, it may be caused by the incorrect location and flushing direction of the flushing point. The flushing pressure is too low, and the concrete adhered on the stirring device cannot flush out, resulting in the phenomenon of “holding the shaft”. The operator of the equipment did not clean the remaining concrete in the batching tank and the stirring shaft in time after the batching and unloading. The rough and uneven concrete was attached to the surface of the stirring shaft. After the concrete mixer dried, it solidified on the shaft, and then it gathered more and more. This is how shaft holding phenomenon occurs.
